John and Carol Steffens

John & Carol Steffens

John & Carol Steffens were married in New York City on Oct. 2, 1965 at Fort George Presbyterian Church. They moved to upstate New York in January 1966 when John accepted a position with IBM. They attended Shokan Reformed Church where Carol served on the Board of Trustees and as a Deacon and John served as an Elder. They have three children who were born in New York, Susanna (Ric) Herndon, Carolyn (Brent) Jester, and John (Tadzia) Steffens. The family moved to Tucson in January 1980 and joined Tucson Reformed Church in 1982. Their three children all joined TRC as the years went by. John and Carol have both served on the Consistory of now Rosemont Community Church and have done many others things connected with the congregation. They are the proud grandparents of 7 grandchildren; Katelyn Brodie; Brandon, Hannah, and Sarah Jester; John, Joanne, and Emma Steffens.
